Google Buys Motorola. One more sign of a mobile future
Today’s business news starts with the announcement of Google’s intention to purchase Motorola’s mobile unit. Rather they are positioning themselves for where they see opportunity in the future. Last year with the introduction of GoogleTV (as an answer to AppleTV) and this year with the purchasing of Motorola Mobile and launch of Google+ they’re saying they believe the future will be socially connected and revolve around smart devices including phones, tablets and TVs.
